Daeseong-dong Tombs (대성동고분박)

Daeseong-dong Tumuli is the burial site of the Gaya Dynasty from the 2nd century through the 5th century. Excavations discovered 219 tombs, with 69 estimated to be of the ruling class. The best period of the Daeseong-dong burial is during the 3rd ~ 4th century, where the Tumuli mound size became bigger and the amount of burial goods increased. Daeseong-dong Tumuli stopped constructing tomb of royals in the late 5th century.

Although it's not one of the popular tourists sites in Busan, let alone Korea, I highly recommend visiting the historical sites of Gimhae. People interested in Korean history can visit several sites (Tomb of King Suro, Daeseong-dong tombs, Gaya museum)  in less than 90 minutes.
